Gaza City:
After relief groups have successfully ended negotiations with the U.S. about assistance for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, Palestinian spokesperson for the Red Crescent Society, Farouk El-Farouk has confirmed their nation's participation in the relief effort. It was confirmed that at 9:15am this morning, 4 plane loads of volunteers from Gaza and the West Bank left Amman, bound for New Orleans to assist with the looting.

I'm surprised they weren't depressed that the sifrei Tora were waterlogged and the shuls destroyed in NOLA before they had a chance to destory the shuls themselves.
How is that rascist? Its a perfect reflection of their hatred of Jews (and they've been very vocal lately and active in burning shuls to the ground).

I didn't find it racist and tasteless, I found it clever and ironic.
On the other hand, Ruchnigashmi's comments were racist and tasteless. Entire neighborhoods of innocents have been displaced and he just wants to call people names and suggest that they're criminals.
