Hasidic Jew Killed in Borough Park Is Remembered

LEAD: Some of the hundreds of Hasidic Jews who gathered yesterday at Beth Jacob School in the Borough Park section of Brooklyn at a memorial service for Eli Wald, who was stabbed to death as he returned home from work on Christmas morning. The gathering was also intended to protest what the participants called increased violence against residents of the predominantly Jewish neighborhood.
